I'm just a normal guy like you who loves motorcycles. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 12 years old when my father bought me my first bike. Believe it or not, it was a 65cc 2-Stroke HARLEY DAVIDSON! No shoes were ruined at that time because the 3-speed gear shifting was done by rotating the left-hand-side hand grip on the handle bars. Well, that was a long, long time ago and I seriously doubt if Harley even makes a 65cc 2-Stroke motorcycle anymore.

After that classic bike I had the pleasure of owning the following; Kawasaki 175 2-Stroke Enduro, Honda CB-750, Suzuki Intruder 700, Honda VF-750 and Suzuki GSX-1100. I won't even mention my past Suzuki and Yamaha dirt bikes here because dirt bike riders most likely won't be in need of a Shiftcush for obvious reasons.

Why Was SHIFTCUSH Invented?

As an American who has also been riding motorcycles in the USA since I was 12 years old and I've also been working overseas for several years, motorcycling has become a daily mode of transportation and part of my life (along with millions of other commuters). However, there was always one thing that bothered me. While riding, due to multiple gear up-shifting actions, I noticed two recuring problems;

1) The top of my left shoe would always get ruined with black/ugly shifter shoe scuff marks.

2) If you ride a lot or go on long tours then you may also experience a soreness to the upper foot area due to the same reason!

(The funny part about it was that I noticed that many other riders obviously suffered from the same problems! How did I know this? Well, at any given stop light I saw that many of them had applied rolls of tape, an old sock, a piece of cloth, etc. to their gear shift levers. All these facts were telling me that something should be done about this gear shifter problem asap).

This is what lead me to develop and invent the, SHIFTCUSH. Simply put, it is a MOTORCYCLE GEAR SHIFTER CUSHIONED PADDING.
